Write Your Own Story

Help Docs for CJ's Easy As Pie "The Pie"
To get started, follow Help DOCs in numerical order.

What does The Pie do for you?

Quite simply, it helps you write better books.

That's because The Pie does all the work of designing and formatting your book, leaving you free to concentrate on your writing... and your book will be ready for sale in record time.

What if you already have a book... but it's a mess of ragged spacing, uneven fonts and blank pages?

No problem.

The Pie loves to show off.

Turn The Pie loose on that mess, follow the step-by-step guide, and, your book will soon be clean and ready for proper formatting.

The Pie will then format your book according to Amazon's requirements, complete with the Amazon-required Table of Contents and the Amazon-required TOC.NCX.

You don't have to know a thing about HTML, or anything at all about what the Kindle will or won't accept, or how to make your book look professional.
The Pie takes care of it all.

No Other Word Processor is Needed

All word processing power needed for the Kindle is included in the built-in word processing system by Atlantis.

    1. Hello two cents,

I don't use Open Office, but maybe this is the same as MS Word.

In MS Word, put all your page breaks into your Styles.

For example, format all your Chapter Heads (usually Heading 1) to have a "page break before".

      and...

Create an Image tag that will center a full size image and put a page break before it.

If you don't do that, you will get unexpected page breaks, which is probably what is happening to you.
